RD Series (Double-Ended Fish-Eye Articulated Type)

RD Series Magnetostrictive Displacement Sensors feature flexible and straightforward installation. They are suitable for stroke or position detection in linear motion mechanisms, as well as external position detection for hydraulic cylinders.The analog output type incorporates a built-in 16-bit D/A conversion module and can output standard analog signals, including:0–20 mA (forward/reverse), 4–20 mA (forward/reverse) DC current, or 0–5 V (forward/reverse), 0–10 V (forward/reverse), −10–+10 V (forward/reverse) DC voltage.Displacement signals can be directly output to external controllers, such as the analog input terminals of PLCs and analog signal interfaces of secondary instruments.

Notes

1.Each sensor must be powered individually by a switching power supply that meets product requirements.

2. In case of multiple harmonic interference from the power supply, install a filter (CW1B DC filter) on the power input side of the sensor.

3.If conditions permit, route the sensor cable away from power cables as far as possible. If separation is not feasible, the sensor cable must be laid through an iron pipe or metal flexible conduit along its entire length, and the pipe or conduit must be grounded.

4. The RD series magnetostrictive displacement sensors adopt a split design. The probe of each sensor must be used with the decoding processor of the corresponding serial number. For multi-unit installation, please ensure matching connection and installation according to product serial numbers and corresponding processors.
