MPS-F Series magnetoelectric absolute draw-wire displacement sensors adopt a magnetic-sensitive non-contact design with zero mechanical wear and outstanding stability. The encoder features an independent compartment structure with glue potting sealing on the inner wall, delivering superior waterproof performance, enabling stable operation under harsh long-term underwater working conditions.
Maximum resolution: 15-bit, providing 32768 position points per revolution. Three model specifications are available:
Type S: measuring range 0~2500 mm
Type M: measuring range 2501~8000 mm
Type L: measuring range 8001~15000 mm Covers stroke measurement requirements for a wide range of application scenarios.
Multiple signal outputs are supported, including 4~20 mA current analog, 0~5 V / 0~10 V voltage analog, and RS485 digital signals. Featuring great compatibility with various industrial control systems, the sensor delivers easy installation, precise measurement and long service life.

Overall Dimensions (Type S)

Applicable to underwater operation, warehouse position positioning, reservoir dam safety monitoring, gate opening control, pressure machinery, papermaking machinery, textile machinery, metal plate processing equipment, packaging machinery, printing machinery, horizontal controllers, construction machinery, industrial robots, injection molding machines, woodworking machinery, elevators, air compressors, hydraulic presses, height measuring machines, X-Y axes, and other automatic measurement scenarios for length displacement and liquid level measurement.
1、Use the fixing holes at the bottom of the sensor housing. Drill holes of matching dimensions on the mounting surface and fasten the sensor with screws. It may be mounted directly, fitted with extra protective accessories or matched with other mechanical components according to on-site conditions and available installation space of the equipment.
2、When installing the stainless steel cable, pay attention to the horizontal angle. The cable should slide horizontally during operation from the cable outlet to the moving part or mechanism as much as possible.
3、Maintain a slight deflection angle (allowable tolerance: ±3°) to guarantee measurement accuracy and extend the service life of the cable. The cable is made of stainless steel coated with fluorine layer. Avoid scratches, burns, impacts and other external damage to the cable. Excessive dust, metal chips or other debris that may damage the cable accumulated inside the pulley or cable outlet will wear the cable and cause unsmooth operation failures.
4、Before the sensor is mounted on a workbench or fixed base, do not pull out the cable by hand or other objects and let it snap back instantly. This action will break the cable, damage the sensor structure and pose risks to personal safety.
5、The instantaneous acceleration of reciprocating movement shall not exceed 2 m/s for MPS-S and MPS-M series; for MPS-L and MPS-L-P series, the instantaneous reciprocating acceleration shall not exceed 1 m/s. Failure to comply may result in cable breakage, and our company shall not be liable for damages arising from usage beyond the specified operating limits.
6、If the sensor is applied to non-linear motion mechanisms, install appropriate guide pulleys for smooth operation.
7、For harsh environments or special working conditions, install additional protective structures as required.
